Pure and Arrow to offer all flash array solutions to MSPs

Arrow Electronics is offering Pure Storage’s market leading All Flash Array (AFA) technology to service providers in the UK.
Making the announcement at Cloud Expo 2016, Arrow will offer Pure’s technology as an operating expense with consumption based pricing. Managed service providers will be enabled to convert capital spend into an operating expense and increase the performance, reliability and value in their cloud and managed service offerings.
Arrow will offer AFA across its network of enterprise computing solutions customers.
James Petter, VP EMEA, Pure Storage said: “Managed service providers want to run their business operations with greater efficiency and profitability. Through this collaboration with Arrow Electronics, we can provide the channel the latest Flash technology on a consumption basis. This can present a ten-fold improvement in performance and reliability, delivered without the need for heavy capital spend up front.”

As part of the offering, Arrow’s service providers will gain access to real-time performance, analytics, and billing, thereby increasing control of their operating environment. They will also gain access to continuous improvements and updates through an evergreen lifecycle.
