Seven day lead time for Galaxy VM UPS

Reduced lead time will enable organisations to expedite deployment of business critical infrastructure.

Schneider Electric says that the lead time for its Galaxy™ VM three-phase uninterruptible power supply (UPS) has been reduced to seven days.

Unrivaled in the industry, the seven day lead time will enable customers to reduce the deployment time of their critical power solutions, while benefiting from the latest energy efficiency technology the Galaxy VM has to offer. The seven day lead time is applicable to all of the markets that Schneider Electric serves.

“With this reduced lead time, our customers and partners can now quickly deploy the Galaxy VM UPS to ensure reliable power protection while leveraging the solution’s innovative efficiency technology to reduce energy use,” said Gael Souchet, global product manager, Schneider Electric.

Designed for data centres, infrastructure and light industrial applications, the Galaxy VM offers optimised architectures up to 1MVA, is simple to deploy and seamlessly integrates into existing electrical, physical and monitoring environments. The Galaxy VM lowers energy costs through its unique ECOnversion™ mode which enables organisations to drive business results by reducing energy consumption and related costs while assuring maximum uptime and availability without putting critical loads at risk.

The highly compact UPS also links in with smart grid requirements and offers both traditional and modular energy storage flexibility that allows tailoring of the solution to specific organisational needs.
