IIM implemented in Chinese power substations

RiT's IIM solution used for connectivity management, monitoring & visibility of 10,000 intelligent ports.

Th China Southern Power Grid Company has deployed RiT’s PatchView™ Intelligent Infrastructure Management (IIM) solution to gain real-time visibility and to manage their network remotely while increasing availability and operational efficiency. The IIM PatchView solution manages over 10,000 intelligent ports implemented in power substations throughout the Yunnan Province of South China.

Mr. Mao Lan from Yunnan Shuanglin company, project’s system integrator, selected RiT IIM, because of the ease of integrating with their comprehensive management platform and the seamless connection between modules.

Using the RiT solution, managers can supervise the physical link status anywhere anytime; even for remote substations. Managers can respond to equipment errors and warning of physical link failures promptly to prevent downtime, which would have been impossible without RiT’s remote monitoring capabilities.
