Odin, the premier platform provider for cloud service delivery, and Gradwell Communications, Ltd., a UK-based provider of communications technology, have announced an expansion to Gradwell’s rich portfolio of cloud services offerings with the successful deployment of Microsoft Office 365 via Odin Service Automation.

The combination of Service Automation and Microsoft CSP services enables Gradwell to build on its existing Microsoft based cloud solution offerings to provide the complete Microsoft cloud portfolio. It also empowers Gradwell to build better customer relationships by tailoring solutions to meet specific customer requirements and provide a complete managed service portfolio combined with direct support and billing.

Building on almost 20 years of UK SMB experience, Gradwell Communications is now able to enhance its existing strong calls, connectivity, and cloud offerings to make unique modern office solutions affordable for the small to mid-size UK business community. Driven by its recent participation in the tier 1 CSP Microsoft Office 365 program, the Odin CSP APS package provides Gradwell with a flexible solution for automating customer on-boarding and service delivery, and bundling related cloud services.

“Increasingly, we see more and more SMBs realizing the business benefits of cloud adoption and software-as-a-service (SaaS). As a result, we see businesses are not asking why or how they will adopt cloud, but when,” said Jacek Murawski, Odin EMEA general manager and vice president.

The latest European SMB Cloud Insights™ report from Odin indicates that the European SMB cloud services market will grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 17 percent by 2018 (from ˆ18.9B to ˆ30.1B). Findings also reveal that the SaaS market is expected to have the largest CAGR over the next three years (21 percent, from ˆ4.3B today to ˆ7.5B in 2018).

“Gradwell Communications has benefited greatly from the Odin team’s knowledge and expertise, and our long term close working relationship has allowed us to accelerate go-to-market in weeks rather than months,” said Peter Gradwell, CTO and founder of Gradwell Communications. “As the orchestration software provider for Gradwell Cloud, the use of Odin was a strategic investment for us two years ago, and we are delighted to be able to bring Office 365 to market within our cloud portfolio.”

“The Cloud Solution Provider Program (CSP) puts our partners at the center of the customer relationship,” said Phil Sorgen, corporate vice president, Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft Corp. “Through their participation, Cloud distributors have demonstrated dedication to helping the broad channel as well as our mutual customers successfully move to cloud.”

“By adopting Service Automation to automate the delivery of the full Microsoft CSP portfolio and other services, Gradwell Communications is able to automate the entire customer lifecycle management process, including provisioning, billing, and customer management,” said Murawski. “The platform empowers partners to build or transform their cloud business by flexibly integrating Microsoft CSP services into their business model, and to offer high-value cloud solutions combined with the extensive Odin cloud services ecosystem and best-of-breed automation capabilities. Gradwell Communications is proof that by using Service Automation, service providers can get to market quickly with Microsoft CSP services, while equipping themselves for unlimited future growth.”
