The international offices have seen enormous revenue and customer increases in the past five years, necessitating the need to expand its overseas operations. Scale Computing will be showing the HC3 Platform at IP EXPO in London at Stand E7 on October 7th and 8th.
The award-winning Hyperconverged Platform (HC3) from Scale Computing has been a windfall, garnering channel partnership wins worldwide, as well as robust adoption from its small-to-midsized business customer-base. The larger international presence in EMEA and UK will accommodate Scale Computing’s expanded management team and fast-growing technical staff for the design and operations of its solutions.
“I'm very excited about this opportunity in EMEA and Canada as it mirrors Scale Computing’s expanding operations in the US marketplace,” said Jeff Ready, CEO and Co-founder of Scale Computing. “With hyperconvergence emerging as the wave of the future, Scale Computing and its cutting-edge hyperconverged technology for the mid-market is well poised to thrive and grow.”
In line with its increased sales and partners, Scale Computing EMEA’s headquarters continue to expand its management and selected industry-veteran Simon Marrion to head up the United Kingdom and EMEA offices. Under Marrion’s leadership, the UK and EMEA offices will continue its growth momentum and the nurturing of its partner eco-system. Marrion has a 20-year track record of building two-tier channels in EMEA for storage and networking vendors. Prior to joining the company, he was a Regional Channel Sales Manager at Seagate and Lantronix.
In addition to Marrion, Scale announced the hiring of two more executives to the EMEA office: Ian Smith as Scale Computing’s EMEA Technical Manager as well as Leonard Powers as EMEA Systems engineer. Additional new hires will be announced in the near future.
Scale Computing has been lauded by industry organizations for its leadership in the mid-market hyperconverged space. The company was recently named to CRN’s annual Emerging Vendors list, which highlights technology vendors based on criteria of channel influence, innovation, and business and sales impact as well as winning the Virtualisation Company of the Year form SVC in 2013 and 2014.
