The company has secured a number of prestigious projects, including a site specific customised 4MW UPS – comprised of eight 500kVA modules for the upgrade of an established London data centre, of which half of the project has been successfully handed over with further works ongoing.
Separately, PCL has been chosen to be the solutions provider for a major project where over 150 single phase UPS and associated electrical work are to be deployed to support the IT infrastructure over multiple sites for a high profile international sporting event being held in England this Autumn.
Choosing to invest, the record growth experienced by PCL has allowed it to continue to strengthen its infrastructure across the company. Several new recruits have been employed including an additional project engineer, technical sales support engineer and two experienced industry UPS field service engineers.
The PCL sales team has also been bolstered with three new additions, where the latest to join the successful team is a service delivery manager who is responsible for implementing and ensuring the very best customer experience is given at all times.
Officially appointed managing director in April, along with a revamped board, Mark Trolley commented: “The growth we have experienced, specifically since our rebrand at the beginning of the year has surpassed all our business forecasts and projections. The team we now have at PCL is the strongest and most experienced that I have had the pleasure of working with.
“I believe the new management structure is allowing us to operate more efficiently allowing a more dynamic response to client requirements. The projects we are now working on for the remainder of the year indicate it could be our most successful ever in the company’s 21 year history. I am very excited about further developments in new product and service infrastructure, which are due to be unveiled later this year.

PCL is the official UK distributor for Italian UPS manufacturer, Borri Spa. Dedicated to its three phase UPS product, PCL receives direct manufacturing and technical support from Borri Spa and has a high level of engineering involvement, which is supported by its service and maintenance programmes and high UPS and product spares stock levels.
