As an established and respected supplier of monitoring tools and state-of-the-art heat load and server emulators within the IT space, Chichester based Mafi Mushkila has provided equipment to more than 200 data centre projects around the world. Since being founded in 2002 it has also gained an enviable reputation for its expertise and offers a diverse range of data centre consultancy services. The company has worked on many major data centre projects for blue chip organisations including Aviva and Lloyds Banking Group, delivering services for the design, team selection, construction, IT fit out and migration stages.
Located in Dartford, OPS has a 30 year track record as a rental provider of high and low voltage load banks, transformers, generators and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). The company also provides electrical and mechanical services, as well as diesel fuel system installations and modifications, to a diverse and ever growing customer base in a wide variety of market sectors.
Commenting on this development, Dave Wolfenden, managing director of Mafi Mushkila, said, ‘I am delighted that we have entered into a strategic partnership with OPS, something that I firmly believe will benefit both companies, as well as our customers in the data centre industry. The services we provide complement each other perfectly, with OPS predominantly outside the IT space providing load for the upstream infrastructure and Mafi Mushkila providing the load within the IT space.’
Gene Murrell, director at OPS, added, ‘Our previous experience of working with Mafi Mushkila has been overwhelmingly positive. There is a great deal of synergy between the two companies and I’m looking forward to taking this partnership in new and exciting directions.’
Existing and potential customers will have the opportunity to see Mafi Mushkila and Optimum Power Services at Data Centre Summit North on the 30th September, which takes place at The Ethiad Stadium in Manchester. Both companies will be showcasing their latest product and service offerings and experts will be on hand to provide demonstrations and answer any questions.
