CentriLogic enhances enterprise capabilities with new Toronto data centre

Global data center and managed services company opens state-of-the-art facility to service mid-to-large enterprises with critical applications and complex IT infrastructure outsourcing requirements.

CentriLogic has opened a multi-million dollar enterprise-grade data center in Mississauga, Ontario. From this facility, CentriLogic will deliver its comprehensive suite of managed hosting, co-location, cloud and advanced technology services to local and global clients.

The data center is a 28,000 square foot, highly redundant and secure facility that is engineered to the industry’s highest standards. The facility has 7,000 square feet of raised floor space, with an additional 10,000 square foot raised floor expansion planned for early 2016.Hot aisle containment PODS and traditional raised floor configurations will support both low and high power capacity deployments with up to 20 kW per rack available. Additional infrastructure details include approximately 1.5MW of available power, highly redundant configurations across all critical power and cooling systems, and a PUE rating as low as 1.1. The facility will be certified in accordance with CentriLogic’s extensive compliance practices, including SSAE 16, SOC 2, PCI 3.0, and ISO 27001 & 9001 standards.

CentriLogic has seen a considerable increase in demand from local and global enterprises looking for comprehensive hosting solutions supported by robust data center infrastructure, adaptable service deployment and value-added services including consultancy and facility migration support. From this facility, CentriLogic will complement enterprise-grade hosting engagements with its portfolio of advanced technology services, which include managed security, application management, managed network, and data center migration services. CentriLogic has achieved recent success in the enterprise-class market by providing end-to-end hosting solutions for Valeant, Collins Barrow, Perfecto Mobile, and Professional Engineers of Ontario.

The new facility significantly increases CentriLogic’s presence in the Greater Toronto Area, with four locations totaling approximately 70,000 square feet of operational data center and disaster recovery space.

“The Southern Ontario region has been pivotal to CentriLogic’s growth since we began Canadian operations in 2009, and this facility enables us to further extend our capabilities to mid-to-large enterprises that require complex solutions delivered from world-class infrastructure” says Robert Offley, President & CEO of CentriLogic. “As we look to expand our presence nationwide, we are now able to immediately satisfy the increasing demand we are seeing from local and global enterprises for cloud, co-location, and managed services in Canada.”

CentriLogic now owns and operates 10 data centers throughout North America, Europe, and Asia, with a total footprint of over 140,000 square feet.
