TO ACKNOWLEDGE a decade at the forefront of enterprise IT, this year’s free-to-attend, two day event , held on 7-8 October at the ExCel Centre, will be bigger and better than ever. 2015 will see over 300 organisations exhibiting and an estimated 15,000 visitors expected. Brand new for 2015, the event will encompass six co-located sections, covering Cyber Security, Data Centre, Data Analytics, Unified Communications, Cloud and Infrastructure and DevOps, all under one roof.
The theme running through this year’s event is the forward march of IT. It has been a decade since IP EXPO Europe first opened its doors and 2015 will look at what has changed in that time, in addition to exploring the future of key technologies including Cloud ERP, Security, Storage and Mobile.
This is reflected in an exclusive keynote programme featuring industry heavyweights who will address the past, present and future of their technologies. Day One of the event includes a world exclusive ‘Future of the Cloud’ panel, featuring Mark Russinovich of Microsoft and Barak Regev of Google.
Elsewhere, IBM Watson general manager Jay Bellissimo will share his insight into the incredible world of Cognitive Computing and how it is revolutionising industries including Healthcare and Manufacturing. SAP Chief Technology Officer Mark Darbyshire, will feature on a ‘Future of Data Analytics’ panel and Silent Circle founder Phil Zimmerman will talk about navigating the threat of cyber attacks in an increasingly complex online world. Linux Executive Director Jim Zemlin will discuss the use of open source and Linux to accelerate innovation in technology.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to take part in live demonstrations at various points around the event, including the popular Cyber Hack, returning for the second year running and offering live hack demonstrations. Meet-ups will be taking place across the show floor and a collaboration with London Oktoberfest will fuel networking across the three main bar areas, with free beer and snacks for an hour. Following the success of 2014, IP EXPO Europe’s tenth year is set to be a memorable one, ideal for businesses looking to embrace a digital future.
