Quadconnect recently signed a BT wholesale agreement to interconnect over the BT UK national network, which will enable further development, including the roll out of full WLR3 line rental services nationwide. Phillip Drew, CEO of Quadconnect, views the relationship with City Lifeline as central to the continued growth of its parent company, Quad Media Group.
“These are very exciting times for Quadconnect and the Quad Media Group as a whole, with the BT agreement supporting the growth of our UK national network. It was vital we partnered with a well-connected London data centre to ensure our customers are able to connect with affiliates throughout the UK. We are now located where a large number of our customers operate their equipment and knowing City Lifeline connects to all the major internet exchanges and public cloud services nationwide meant it was the obvious choice,” explains Phillip.
“After researching the data centres available in central London, it became apparent City Lifeline’s 21 years’ experience speaks for itself. With this partnership now in place, we can deliver our wide range of managed IT services nationwide, without the worry of power outages.”
Roger Keenan, managing director of City Lifeline, says, “As the scale and complexity of the interconnected world has grown, it has become more important than ever for voice and data communications companies to have a wide choice of routes and carriers. Quadconnect offers customers in the City Lifeline data centre strong links and quality retail termination into Asia, Africa and the Middle East. This new BT relationship enhances Quadconnect’s carrier offering throughout the UK.”
