Tegile works with a dedicated partner network, including Big Technology (BigTec – part of the Exclusive Group of companies), to distribute its products across Europe. “We pride ourselves in spearheading datacenter transformation, and Tegile is one of the most disruptive startups championing this change,” said Barrie Desmond, COO of Exclusive Group. “We work with a select range of storage vendors across Europe to increase the performance and flexibility of an organisation’s core IT infrastructure. Tegile’s portfolio offers our customers across a range of verticals a variety of choice, allowing them to escape the escalating costs, capacity hurdles and performance delays that can no longer be tolerated. As Tegile sells exclusively through the channel it is an honour to support the team as it expands further into the European market, and we look forward to building on our relationship in the future.”
Since its entrance to the European market in 2012, Tegile’s team has grown #400 percent. Mirroring this success is Tegile’s global customer base which has increased to more than 1,400 installations in the past year, including a number of education, healthcare and governmental wins, focusing on virtualisation and high performance.
Damien Silman, Senior Systems Administrator, Gratte Brothers, a Tegile customer said: “Gratte Brothers designers have seen a significant uplift in the amount of storage space available to them. Our previous performance reports weren’t accurate or insightful enough to let us know exactly how our IOPS measured up, but the new Tegile solution means we are now able to monitor our storage demand and have almost doubled the amount of IOPS at peak performance.”
According to IDC, the storage market is growing rapidly, with the all-flash market set to grow at more than a 50 percent compound annual growth rate (CAGR) by 2018, eventually accounting for approximately 15 percent of Europe’s total flash market. To address this Tegile has refined its products into three broad categories to best address each of the business needs commonly associated with its customers. This encompasses the entry-level flash system, the mid-tier workhouse for larger-scale VDI, server virtualisation and database environments, and the high performance array for I/O intensive workloads.
Looking ahead, Tegile already has its sights set on further expansion into the Nordics, and continues to seek partnerships with channel resellers across Europe.
“We have seen such fantastic results all fostered from our own organic growth,” said Paul Silver, VP EMEA, Tegile. “With customers around the world such as Saudi Petroleum, Aer Lingus, Rahr Corporation and Mizuno USA, we are demonstrating exactly how much the company has grown since its inception. Moving further into the European market was the next logical step, and we are excited to continue building relationships with key channel partners in the region to ensure we are providing the best customer experience possible.”
