LDeX deploys Level 3 PoP in Manchester data centre

Level 3 Communications has deployed a Point of Presence (PoP) at LDeX2, the group's newest datacentre that was recently launched in the Trafford Park Area of Manchester.

This news signals the strength and growth of the LDeX Group and enables customers to connect to the Level 3 global network from both its LDeX1 and LDeX2 data centres.

Level 3 is the first official on-net communications services provider to be confirmed at the group's Manchester colocation facility. Rob Garbutt, CEO at LDeX Group commented: "We are delighted that Level 3 Communications has chosen to deploy a POP in our second UK datacentre, LDeX2, which we recently launched in the Trafford Park area.

Attracting carriers such as Level 3 to the new site aligns with our strategic plans to be one of the best connected datacentre operators in the UK."
He added: "This news solidifies our relationship with Level 3 which already provides superior connectivity services to our existing customers at LDeX1, our London based colocation facility."
