EDP Europe to exhibit the first out-of-the-box aisle containment solution at Data Centre World 2015

With Data Centre World, London just a couple of months away, EDP Europe is delighted to announce it will be demonstrating the first out-of-the-box aisle containment solution – AisleLok® Modular Containment, at the show.

AisleLok® Modular Containment designed and manufactured by Upsite Technologies, who gave the industry KoldLok® floor grommets and HotLok® blanking panels, is an easy-to-install aisle containment solution that can be deployed in minutes thanks to its non-intrusive tool-less mounting system.

The system comprises of three core components: Rack Top Baffles that are designed for either hot or cold aisle containment, Bi-directional Doors for attaching to the racks at the end of each aisle and a pull-out Adjustable Rack Gap Panel designed to fill gaps in aisles caused through building support columns or missing IT racks.

The solution has yet to be publicly shown in the UK, and was premiered in Europe at Data Centre World, Germany in October 2014. Colin Parker, Marketing Manager for EDP Europe said “The interest and feedback we received at DCW Germany was extremely positive. Visitors were impressed with the flexibility of the solution and how easy it was to install”.

To see the solution for yourself visit EDP Europe’s stand (stand B72) at Data Centre World, London ExCeL on the 11th-12th March 2015. Lars Strong, P.E., Senior Engineer & Company Science Officer with Upsite Technologies, will be on hand to answer questions relating to data centre airflow management and will also be speaking at the show.
