Founded in 2002 and based in Zurich, InfoTrust AG is one of the most successful IT security companies in Switzerland. Their team of experienced IT security specialists with proven industry know-how advises companies on all IT security issues and has successfully positioned itself over the years in the Swiss market.

Going forward, more than 50 employees of InfoTrust AG and NTT Com Security (Switzerland) AG will jointly offer sophisticated consulting and technical solutions for numerous national and international clients. The current CEO of InfoTrust AG, Mr. Tom Hager, will lead this unit as General Manager. Mr. Adrian Nafzger, former Sales Manager of NTT Com Security (Switzerland) AG, will lead the overall sales team in Switzerland.

NTT Com Security, headquartered in Ismaning near Munich, employs over 850 employees and is one of the largest providers of information security consulting and managed security services (MSS).

The two current directors of InfoTrust AG, Tom Hager (CEO) and Roman Ackle (CTO), and the other founders will take leadership positions at NTT Com Security and therefore remain in the company.

"The acquisition of InfoTrust AG leads to the creation of the largest team of IT security consultants and a new clear market leader in Switzerland. InfoTrust also reinforces our position in established security areas and leading manufacturers in the region. In addition, our services organization will expand further through the acquisition," says Frank Brandenburg, Senior Vice President Central Europe at NTT Com Security.

"With this strategic move, we can offer our customers a broader portfolio of solutions. By accessing the globally distributed Security Operation Centers, our international customers also benefit from more modular SLAs and a local presence. The high level of consulting expertise at NTT Com Security in risk management, coupled with a global reach in customer service and leading Managed Security Services, is a perfect addition to the technical know-how of the InfoTrust team. Our employees benefit from the international projects and career opportunities within the group, which creates an exciting work environment," says Tom Hager.

"With this second acquisition in 2014 after BDG GmbH in the spring, we are developing our growth strategy to become a leading global partner for national and international companies, which are increasingly becoming the target of attacks. NTT Communications supports us with this acquisition, as well as with the further strategic development of the company given their financial strength as of one of the largest and most successful companies in the world," says Heiner Luntz, CFO at NTT Com Security.
