China's Yeastar selects Axiros

Axiros expands global footprint with Yeastar in China, emphasizes the value of its device management software solutions in the voice market.

Yeastar, a leading designer and manufacturer of IP communications products and IP video surveillance products, has selected Axiros' AXACT Embedded TR-069 Client as its tool of choice to allow its applications to be seamlessly integrated into service provider management infrastructure. This means that telcos and service providers can choose Yeastar IP-PBX, VoIP gateways, and IP video surveillance products and be confident that the products will (plug-and-play) interoperate with the existing telco infrastructure for device management and provisioning functionality.

"Yeastar was looking for an easy-to-implement, out-of-the-box solution that would allow their devices to be seamlessly integrated with the service providers' management infrastructure," said Shaun Rossiter, Vice President of Sales for Axiros in APAC. "Axiros' AXACT was an excellent fit as it gave Yeastar the flexibility to customize their data model to configure and monitor the features they deemed necessary, but also those required by the TR-069 standards."

"When bringing device management into our voice product portfolio, we had many concerns as this is a complex process and we wanted to be sure our customers - the telcos and service providers - would benefit from the additional features offered, such as remote device management and provisioning, without the headache of installation challenges," commented Prince Cai, Product Manager of Yeastar. "Axiros delivered. Our promise of faster integration time, a powerful API and customization are now a reality thanks to AXACT."

Yeastar joins Axiros' impressive customer roster of global telecommunication companies. Axiros' AXACT Embedded TR-069 Client is an ideal client-side software for device manufacturers because it is:
· Open to support the full TR-069 feature set
· Open for all subsets and vendor-specific features
· Platform agnostic ANSI C90 source code
· Cross-platform and POSIX compatibility
· Offers engineering support for turnkey integrations
· Open for tailor-made, vendor-specific enhancements
