Digiplex appoints Nordics MD

Gisle M. Eckhoff to drive growth in the Nordic region.

DigiPlex, independent data centre owner and operator, has appointed Gisle M. Eckhoff to the newly-created position of Managing Director, Nordic region at DigiPlex, Scandinavia’s largest datacentre operator.


Mr Eckhoff has nearly thirty years’ experience in senior positions in the IT industry in the US, Sweden, UK and Denmark as well as at home in Norway. He will bring to DigiPlex operations a deep knowledge of client requirements, technology and security developments in this international industry.


Announcing the appointment, DigiPlex chairman J Byrne Murphy, said: “We are delighted Gisle M. Eckhoff will be joining DigiPlex at this important time, when we are consolidating the commissioning of new facilities in Fet, Norway and driving new growth opportunities in Sweden. As DigiPlex enters its second decade, Gisle’s depth of knowledge of the IT sector and international management experience in building strong and long lasting client partnerships through outsourcing, will be invaluable in meeting and exceeding our growth programme.”
