Q Biggest influence?

A Sir Richard Branson “If someone offers
you an amazing opportunity and you’re
not sure you can do it, say yes – then
learn how to do it later.”
Q Most valuable lesson learnt?

A Anything is possible if you put your
mind to it.
Q One company to watch (other than
our own)?

A Nimble – They are fast, dynamic and
disruptive – just like arcserve!
Q Staycation or exotic location?

A Exotic location – Sun, sea, cocktails!
Q If you weren’t an IT exec, what would
you like to be?

A I would be queen for the day!
Q In charge for the day, what world
problem would you address?

A World Poverty
Q Shirt and tie or dress down?

A Well... I would say shirt and tie/ shirt
and skirt – Smart! I’ve never been able
to wear casual clothes, it’s doesn’t get
you in the right frame of mind.
Q Sport - spectator or participator?

A Spectator, I can’t catch, my aim is
rubbish and I don’t like to sweat – so
that rules me out!
Q Your three desert island music
choices?

A David Guetta - Titanium
Swedish house mafia – Miami to Ibiza
Bakermat – Vandaag
A I would have party on the island – all
be it by myself!

five guests, (real or fictional

A Richard Branson, Princess Diana,
Steve jobs, Andy Warhol, Victoria
Beckham
Q Your hero or heroine from history?

A Nelson Mandela – He wasn’t afraid to
stand up in what he believed in.
Q What’s the point of IT?

A It’s the very foundation of the modern
world, makes the world tick! Everything
we do from banking, shopping to
communicating it’s all thanks to the
internet.
Q When it comes to energy resources
(for data centres/IT) is the glass half-
empty or half-full?

A Half full… always the optimist
Q Pet hates?

A When people avoid questions and
don’t give you a straight answer.
No one has time for that!
Q Where does the time machine take you
and why?

A It would take to the future about 2030. I
want to see if everything is in the cloud
and if the ‘internet of things’ plays out.
Q Bring Your Own Device or Bring Your
Own Disaster (waiting to happen at
some point in the future)?

A Bring Your Own Disaster! Think about
how many phones you have lost..
who has your phone and all the data
on it now? (I think I’ve been hanging
around with Security guru Phil
Cracknell too much!)
