As one of the global leaders of Internet Exchange Points (IXP), the addition of LINX to the LDeX1 datacentre facility will allow existing and new members alike to peer directly on the LINX Juniper LAN from the LDeX1 data centre with the availability of both Gig and 10Gig ports.
With over 520 members from 60 different countries worldwide, LINX is the world's largest membership association for Internet Service Providers and other major network operators. The organisation handles over 4 Terabytes per second (Tbps) of peak traffic on behalf of its members and has over 10 Tbps of capacity on its' public peering platform.
Commenting on the news, LDeX Group CEO Rob Garbutt said: "We are delighted to be working with LINX to bring a transmission point of presence at the LDeX1 site.
