EMCOR UK is delighted to announce that, as previously reported during EMCOR Group, Inc.’s April, First Quarter 2014 Earnings Call, it has been awarded an integrated facilities management contract with Three, the mobile network provider. The five-year contract includes Three’s corporate offices in Maidenhead, Glasgow and Reading, and eight data centre sites located across the UK.

EMCOR UK will be responsible for providing a full range of integrated facilities management services at Three’s UK corporate offices and data centres. Scope of work will include security, maintenance of mechanical and electrical facility systems, fire systems maintenance, utility and energy monitoring, data centre coordination, building management systems, catering management, cleaning and janitorial services, pest control, building fabric maintenance, and grounds maintenance.

“We’re delighted that Three selected EMCOR UK as its facilities management partner, not only for our technical expertise in managing data centres and critical environments, and our track record of delivering cost efficient solutions, but also for the cultural alignment between our two organisations. EMCOR UK will work closely with Three to build a long-term collaborative relationship by utilising proven customer-centric approaches such as EMCOR Key Account Management and BS 11000, the standard for collaborative business relationships,” stated Christopher Kehoe, Group Executive Director, EMCOR UK. “Three also chose EMCOR UK for its business-wide focus on customer experience, which ensures that customers’ needs remain at the heart of its business, underpinned by EMCOR’s emphasis on people and talent development, that both engages employees and provides them with the key skills to fulfil customer requirements.”

Diana Kilmartin, Director of Property and Facilities, Three, added: “We selected EMCOR UK for its close cultural alignment to our own business, and the company’s long track record in creating great places to work. The EMCOR UK team demonstrated a true passion for people, and we are very much looking forward to working collaboratively for what I’m sure will be a long and successful partnership.”
