LDeX Group adds Colt to its list of carriers

LDeX Group has announced that Colt, the information delivery platform, has deployed a point of presence at the LDeX1 data centre based in London. This further enhances LDeX Group’s position as the carrier neutral operator data centre partner of choice for global organisations from the retail/ecommerce, media, technology and finance sectors looking for a reliable European colocation & network partner.

Colt is an established leader in delivering integrated network, data centre, voice and IT services to major organisations, midsized businesses and wholesale customers worldwide. The addition of Colt will add a 22 country-wide European network to LDeX, delivering customers direct fibre connections to 19,800 buildings and Colt's 20 carrier neutral data centres.

Commenting on the news, LDeX CEO Rob Garbutt said: “As a leading provider of network access, Colt will add significant value to our current colocation and network services offering by enabling faster connectivity to businesses based in Europe via Colt’s dark fibre network. The addition of Colt will also complement our growing list of tier 1 on-net carriers and further enhance the organisation’s global data centre footprint.”

Colin Randall, Director of Sales at Colt said: “At Colt, we are continuing to invest in expanding our network both nationally and globally. Connecting to LDeX’s data centre enables businesses to choose Colt’s high performing and secure data network when they need European connectivity between strategic data hubs.”
