Avangate CMO Michael Ni appointed to SIIA Software Division Board of Directors

Avangate says that Chief Marketing Officer Michael Ni has been appointed to the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) Board of Directors. Made up of twenty executives from SIIA member companies, the Board brings together selected executives to provide the software industry with advocacy, leadership and critical market information.

Michael Ni has over 20 years of experience as a marketing and product executive, with success in bringing successful innovation-driven business to market. His business experience spans across software, telecommunications, consumer packaged goods and digital media. Ni will be joining the board alongside leaders from IBM, HP, Accenture, Red Hat, Oracle and Deloitte.

"It's a great time to be in software. Companies across virtually every industry are increasingly innovating through software and online services, driving additional value to their customers, and perhaps most importantly, building new revenue models," said Ni. "I'm honored to be appointed to the SIIA Board of Directors and look forward to working with the leaders in the industry, as well as to bringing the perspectives of the thousands of Software, SaaS, and Online Services vendors with whom we work into the Association."

As representatives of the Software Division member firms, all of the newly elected and appointed executives will develop and prioritize the Division's initiatives and determine the projects, activities and events to be undertaken by SIIA.

"These industry leaders bring a varied perspective, helping SIIA to advance business priorities for our member companies," said Rhianna Collier, Vice President of the SIIA Software Division. "Together we can ensure that SIIA continues to provide valued tools and services to our member organizations and remains a strong voice for the software industry."
