Airedale International joins RAC Data Centre Cooling Question Time on 28 March 2014

Stuart Kay, Southern Sales Manager for Airedale will join Dr Jon Summers, Senior Lecturer from the University of Leeds and other experts from the data centre industry which is estimated to have seen global investment increase by 22 per cent in 2012. The panel will discuss the latest thinking on the operational and design considerations behind the most efficient and highest-performing cooling data centres, as well as the technology trends in cooling the facilities. Among the topics on the table are:
· Taking advantage of a €39 billion European market for data centres
· Are we on the verge of a paradigm shift in data centre design – and will that require a shift in cooling technology?
· Balancing security, energy, risk and reliability
· Is there a ‘best’ method of cooling data centres?
· Cooling existing facilities

Stuart, who joined Airedale in 1984, has worked in the cooling industry throughout his career. Airedale has a portfolio of systems ranging from traditional mechanical cooling precision air conditioning systems to rack-based cooling, chillers and adiabatic cooling solutions. The British manufacturer has pioneered free-cooling technologies for more than 15 years and is a driving force in BMS/BEMS controls integration which plays an instrumental role in maximising data centre operational performance and energy efficiency.

This event, which is organised in association with the Data Centre Alliance, will provide cooling industry professionals with the chance to meet and network with a diverse mix of influential companies in the supply chain.
