We are delighted to be named the first ONF-approved testing facility in India and the second in Asia.”
As an ONF-accredited testing facility, CNLabs establishes OpenFlow conformance testing capabilities in India and provides SDN testing services to global clients. CNLabs evaluates vendors’ networking products for conformance, performance, and interoperability, and offers vendors the opportunity to receive OpenFlow certification through ONF’s Conformance Testing Program.
“Our team is very excited to be a part of the vibrant ONF community, to help increase adoption of this new paradigm that is transforming the current networking landscape, and to encourage deployment of new technology and services,” said Srinivas Vegesna, CEO of Criterion Networks. “Becoming an ONF-approved lab is a significant milestone for us, which will also help in increasing SDN awareness and adoption in India as well as across our geographic region.”
In addition, Criterion Networks has also joined as a member company of ONF through the organization’s newly-announced startup membership category. ONF established this category to embrace the innovative work taking place within startups, increasing organization collaboration and the advancement of open SDN.
“We extend a warm welcome to Criterion Network Labs as the first ONF-accredited testing lab in India,” said Dan Pitt, executive director of the Open Networking Foundation. “This addition to our OpenFlow Conformance Testing Program is an exciting development for our organization, as it further strengthens our efforts to encourage interoperability, fosters application development, helps increase awareness of the benefits of open SDN, and serves to accelerate global adoption of this technology.”
