Rack range Excels

Excel Networking Solutions, the copper and optical cabling infrastructure provider has launched a new range of racks under the name of ‘Environ’. The launch is in response to growing demand from integrators, consultants and end user clients for an even broader set of well designed, quality enclosures to be made available under the Excel brand. With many new product and feature introductions within the Environ range, Excel provides a true end-to-end solution with copper, fibre, MTP, racking and power available from a single provider.

Environ comprises five separate ranges including a featured packed standard cabinet for everyday use, an open frame solution with high density, providing extremely flexible cable management options, through to the flagship SR range designed specifically for server room and data centre applications.

The SR range comes with a stylish wave vented, mesh front door providing 70% airflow and vented rear wardrobe doors to provide further air circulation and easy access. The rack is designed to take up to 1300kg load capacity, perfect for use in data centre environments.

The Environ OR open rack has been updated to add a much wider choice of vertical and horizontal cable management and with its small footprint provides a true high density option where there is a secure environment to locate them in.

Commenting on the launch Andrew Percival, managing director said ‘With the launch of the Environ range we’ve taken the Excel enclosure offering to the next level. With the improved design and added features we are confident Environ will be accepted positively by existing and new customers, and enable us to increase our market share in this important sector.’

Andrew continued ‘As part of the launch plan we have taken on a new dedicated assembly facility, located on the same industrial park as out head ofice in Birmingham. This gives us a significant increase in capacity and ensures’ the highest levels of quality control. Our customer’s can continue to rely on the UK’s largest stock of racks, and our next day ‘free of charge’ delivery to anywhere in the UK.’

Andrew added ‘Delivery charges are generally a hidden extra that many installers don’t take into account when pricing up their enclosure requirements, with Excel the price for the product is all you pay, we even deliver 47U racks free of charge.’

Andrew concluded ‘Perhaps the most significant benefit – certainly for end users and consultants specifying systems, is when installed as part of an Excel copper, fibre or voice installation by an accredited partner, they are also covered by our no-nonsense 25 year warranty. So the end user has the complete peace of mind that they have a quality and trusted solution and total support from the supplier for the duration of the warranty period.’
To help customers choose the right product for their requirements Excel has produced 360o photography that allows the rack to be viewed from every angle. This is complemented by a rack configurator whereby the user can build the specification required and a part number and bill of materials is generated for them to receive a quotation and/or place their order. Both facilities are available to use at www.excel-networking.com
