Geist celebrates record 2013 global growth

Geist, a leading data centre infrastructure provider, saw 2013 out in style returning record global sales for the year, with an increase of just under 20% when compared to 2012 revenues.

During the year Geist launched the specialist data centre cooling brand Opengate by Geist, made substantial progress in the APAC region, and witnessed significant growth from its DCIM software division. The company also broke all previous delivery records on an extensive range of standard PDUs and custom power strip requests and the European manufacturing facility earned runner up position in the 2013 EEF Future Manufacturing Awards.

Gordon Hutchison, Vice President of International Operations said: “Despite a sluggish start to 2013 in the USA and challenging conditions in European markets, we have managed to achieve business results that are testament to the values of Geist, namely our quality global products and unrivalled local customer service.

“We’re very excited about 2014 which will bring the release of our new range of Geist Modular products and the latest version of our DCIM flagship product Environed, giving us plenty of scope to see additional sales growth in the year ahead.”
