The government agency has named SolarWinds among the top three nominated for the IT and Shared Services category. The award recognition reflects SolarWinds' investment in the region, particularly the creation of new jobs and investment in training. CzechInvest will announce the winner on November 6th 2013 at an awards ceremony taking place at the Congress Centre of the Czech National Bank, Senova?ne Square in Prague.
"We continue to be impressed with the calibre of talent and the enthusiasm of technical staff in Brno," said Mark Szygenda, SVP Engineering and Operations, SolarWinds. "Our technical team's contribution in Brno, is integral to the global success of the company."

SolarWinds will continue to build its corporate profile in Brno, where the company established an operation in 2008 and now employs well over 200 staff. A high percentage of these are software engineers, responsible for research and development on products such as SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor (SAM), SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM) and SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA). SolarWinds was named as the Czech Republic's seventh Best Employer for 2012.

"In line with SolarWinds' global success and expansion, we envisage continuing to benefit from the pool of highly skilled technical talent available in the Czech Republic. As our global growth accelerates, so does our investment in the region," said Szygenda.

Brno has several universities with facilities for technical training and this talent group attracts an increasing number of investments each year. In recent times most new investment has come from the IT sector, surpassing automotive and engineering which were the traditional champions.
The company expects to continue to expand in Brno to support the design and development of SolarWinds' network management software solutions. In the coming years, SolarWinds plans to add more professionals to the Brno office. The office is currently looking for developers and senior developers, technology and developer leads, testers and senior testers, UX designers, technical support, product managers, and software architects.
