Ipanema Technologies and Intergence started their strategic relationship in 2010. This relationship enabled Intergence to deliver Ipanema’s expertise in visibility and control to help clients achieve the most from their digital estates by delivering Ipanema’s application performance guarantee to large enterprise customers.

Today’s announcement aims to enlarge the market scope of this service to SMEs, allowing Intergence to address the full spectrum of the marketplace through Ipanema’s AppsWork service. As a completely scalable solution that is easy to deploy, AppsWork is a great fit for Intergence as they move to reduce their operational risk by broadening their customer base through expanding into the SME market.

“We think there’s huge potential in the SME market for WAN optimisation, governance, and application performance guarantee. Given our industrious relationship with Ipanema so far, we’re excited to extend our partnership to include AppsWork. We recognise the market-leading solutions that Ipanema delivers and this WAN optimisation or application performance guarantee as a Service offering will enable us to create recurring revenue streams. The fact that the platform for AppsWork is very similar to Ipanema’s enterprise offering is an added bonus that means we should be able to hit the ground running,” said Peter McEvoy, Marketing Manager at Intergence.

“As SMEs are moving to the cloud and using more business SaaS applications, they’re experiencing the same application performance issues as large enterprises. Traditional WAN optimisation solutions, owing to their cost and complexity, aren’t a viable option. Thus, the strategic partnership between Ipanema’s AppsWork service and Intergence presents great opportunities for both sides,” commented Rogier van der Wal, Vice President Cloud Services, Ipanema Technologies. He continued, “Overall, the WAN optimisation market is rapidly expanding. The trend is for WAN optimisation to increasingly be delivered as a service. Here’s where AppsWork comes in: it provides enterprises an easy-to-use service that will guarantee full visibility, application performance, and user satisfaction. This maximises productivity and creates cost savings, a great combination for our partners to offer to their customers.”
