OptiView® and Visual TruView™ upgrades

Fluke Networks is launching major updates to both its OptiView XG® and TruView™ network monitoring products this October.

The Visual TruView™ network and application performance monitoring and troubleshooting solution has received its first update since its launch in January 2013. This provides a new capacity planning feature to identify areas of congestion and under-utilisation, helping organisations to make a business case for upgrades and plan for longer-term needs.


Visual TruView™ was ranked the best Hybrid ANPM Solution and a Value Leader for large enterprise and service provider deployments by leading industry analysts Enterprise Management Associates.1 Visual TruView™ has 2.5 times more analytical processing power than any competing solution, and provides automatic identification and configuration of both applications and networks.


Fluke Networks is also launching V11 of its popular OptiView XG® network analysis tablet, which introduces a variety of flexible, scalable test agents up to line rate 10 Gbps, providing broad visibility and deeper understanding of enterprise-wide network performance and end-to-end QoS.
OptiView XG® can measure end-to-end network performance in terms of bandwidth, latency, jitter, loss and availability up to 10Gbps. Working in conjunction with its graphical path analysis and a peer or reflector endpoint, it is the only tool that can inject test traffic to measure network performance and reveal exactly where problems and choke points are located. The new OptiView XGR® is significantly cheaper as a test peer than a second OptiView XG®, enabling organisations to choose from a range of capabilities and prices when selecting agents for network performance testing.
