In line with IP EXPO’s drive to become Europe’s leading IT event, Imago Techmedia has announced two new co-located events at IP EXPO Europe next year, Data Centre Expo and Enterprise Security Expo. The expanded event is relocating to ExCeL London to accommodate a wider audience and offer even more relevant content and expert commentary.
IP EXPO continues to be the one place where technology comes together and the new events will further develop themes to bring a wider scope to the event. Data Centre Expo will examine the core areas of hosting, colocation, networks and connectivity, cloud, storage, facilities and infrastructure. The event has been developed to build conversation around the most topical issues for data centre owners, operators and facility managers.
“With cloud and consumerisation driving the next wave of IT transformation, the data centre has embraced its role as a strategic asset that provides a platform for innovation and competitive advantage,” said Duncan Kirk, divisional director of IP EXPO. “Bringing together these new technologies under one roof will attract more audiences to IP EXPO Europe and give visitors the chance to see the latest trends in one place.”
Enterprise Security Expo is focused on the securing of information with reference to key topics including mobility, cloud and social interaction within the modern enterprise. It will feature a dedicated conference, as well as four theatres and substantial exhibition space. Major and current trends addressed by the event include internet and network security, fighting cybercrime, advanced analytics, identity and privacy protection, cloud security and governance, and mobile device management.
Bill Hammond, event director, commented: “The Enterprise Security event is especially relevant considering disruptive technologies, such as cloud, mobile, BYOD and social media are pushing data and function closer to the user. This means the challenge has now moved on to address the security of corporate data and networks.
“These new events ensure that we are bringing our existing audience a wider range of technologies and also attracting new visitors, all the while developing the IP EXPO brand into Europe’s largest enterprise IT show,” concluded Hammond.
