SUSE kicks off SUSE Linux Expert Forum Tour 2013

Half-day events throughout UK, Europe and South Africa in October and November.

Open source software pioneer SUSE is taking its 2013 SUSE Linux Expert Forum on tour, staging events in 20 cities, 10 countries and two continents throughout October and November.

The events are designed for SUSE customers who want to learn more about SUSE solutions and ask questions of SUSE’s experts. Attendees will benefit from learning about the latest technological advancements in SUSE products and solutions including SUSE Linux Enterprise SP3, SUSE Manager, SUSE Studio, SUSE Cloud and many more.

Each event runs from 9am until 2pm and includes sessions examining the Linux market, current market trends and national updates, new features of SUSE Linux Enterprise SP3, Linux lifecycle management, a question and answer session and a cloud session which includes a technical demonstration of SUSE Cloud. Breakfast and lunch will also be served at each event providing ample networking opportunities.

The tour starts on 8th October in Warrington, UK, before heading to South Africa, Italy, Sweden, Poland, Denmark, Russia, Spain, Portugal and Luxembourg. There are further UK dates planned for Bracknell (15th October), London (22nd October) and Edinburgh (24th October).

Brian Green, managing director, SUSE UK, comments: “There are fewer resources available now for IT projects which means that an increasing number of technology decisions are made outside of the control of the IT department. But IT is still responsible for the end result, so it’s imperative that companies have a robust, reliable and high performance environment which also minimises cost.

“SUSE specialises in providing this sort of environment, and this tour has been specially designed to provide valuable insight for customers who want to learn about SUSE’s latest product updates and how these new advancements can benefit their organisations.”
