Managed service provider Inbay has incorporated Exponential-e’s Smart Internet solution into its product portfolio, to support its provision of cloud solutions and increase product expansion.

The partnership allows Inbay to better provide its enterprise customer base with an ultra-fast, symmetrical and fully scalable business Internet solution which acts as a platform for effective delivery of cloud services. The Internet service will enable Inbay to deliver converged and cloud services over the same Internet connection.

Smart Internet enables Inbay’s customers to run numerous access sites over one VPLS connection, enhancing business flexibility. Since becoming an accredited partner, Inbay has rolled out the business-grade, end-to-end fibre service which runs over Exponential-e’s UK-wide 100GigE Layer 2 core network to seven organisations from across the public and retail sectors.

By reselling Exponential-e’s connectivity and Business Internet solutions the company is able to provide its customers with access to an array of business-critical, cloud-based applications such as online backup, server replication, anti-spam email services and hosted telephony. Access to such services has provided Inbay with a unique opportunity to add significant value to a number of their customers and boost its credentials to prospective targets.

Commenting on the partnership, Inbay Managing Director, Kristian Wright said: “By partnering with Exponential-e we can not only be confident of providing our customers with a world class, Ethernet based, Business Internet, but we also now have a platform from which we can confidently run a range of cloud-based services. Inbay is constantly looking for new ways to differentiate from others in the marketplace and the flexible approach that Exponential-e offers, means there is no limit to what we can offer to both existing and future customers”.

Exponential-e is confident that Smart Internet will continue appeal to organisations beyond its 1500 strong partner and customer base as cloud-based offerings continue to be implemented as a core aspect of business operations throughout the UK.

Dave Joplin, Head of Indirect, Exponential-e added: “The relationships we have with our channel partners are highly symbiotic. Our relationship with Inbay, perfectly illustrates how Business Internet can be the first building block to Partners delivering converged connectivity, voice and Cloud services.
We’re delighted to be working with Inbay and are looking forward to supporting them and their customers as their service offering expands further.”
