New Veeam enterprise customers include Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. (NASDAQ: JKHY), Vestas Wind Systems A/S, BNP Paribas, Swiss Re, TrendMicro, Norwegian Cruise Line, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, REHAU AG & Co., Ferretti Group and the School District of Palm Beach County – all choosing Veeam, which now protects over 4 million virtual machines worldwide.

"Veeam products performed exceptionally well during a recent key data center migration, providing solid performance in replicating, backing up, and restoring our environments," said Michael Brittenham, Director of Corporate Systems at Jack Henry & Associates, a S&P 400 company that supports more than 11,300 financial institutions with core processing and complementary solutions. "The fact that we can manage our large enterprise deployment of Veeam from a central console was also a deciding factor for us in choosing Veeam as our standard modern data protection solution for more than 4,000 virtual machines."

Vestas Wind Systems A/S is the world’s leading developer and manufacturer of wind turbines, which use wind energy to generate electricity. Headquartered in Århus, Denmark, Vestas has 19,000 employees and a technology infrastructure that includes two datacenters. "Veeam´s Backup & Replication product is easy to use, powerful and flexible in every modern vSphere enterprise environment” said Alan Madsen, Technical Lead, Hardware & Framework / Group Finance & Operations at Vestas Wind Systems. ”Every time we take a backup or do a restore, we are surprised with the product’s performance and ingenuity."

“Our accelerated momentum and market share in the enterprise space is a result of major enterprise wins, strengthened relationships with prominent partners like Softchoice, record company growth overall, and numerous product and industry awards,” said Ratmir Timashev, President and CEO of Veeam. “With 88 percent of the Fortune 500 as Veeam customers and the year-over-year growth of the virtual machines Veeam protects at 74 percent, Modern Data Protection is fueling the enterprise adoption of a new breed of backup for critical applications.”

“When it comes to backup, enterprises need data protection that removes barriers to off-site backup, reduces backup windows, and increases recovery options,” said Eric Sheppard, Research Director, Storage Software for IDC. “Veeam's ability to deliver these enterprise-level features, combined with the high levels of virtualization usage within large organizations, are important contributors to their recent growth within the data protection and recovery software market.”

Veeam’s momentum in the enterprise continues with the recent availability of Veeam Backup & Replication v7, purpose-built with new enterprise–level features to support the growing demand. The solution includes two disruptive innovations, Built-in WAN Acceleration and Backup from Storage Snapshots, to address challenges many large organisations face including exploding data volumes, shrinking backup windows, and more stringent recovery point and recovery time objectives (RPOs and RTOs). Veeam Backup & Replication v7 also introduces 7 additional market-leading features and more than 75 other new features/enhancements, including Veeam Explorer for Microsoft SharePoint, VMware vCloud Director Integration, Self-Service Recovery of VMs and Guest Files, and Native Tape Support.
