Prior to joining Violin Memory, Blackall was the Director of Channel and Alliances at Dell Software. He has also operated as Managing Director of EMEA channels at CommVault Systems, and was VP EMEA channel at Veritas (now Symantec), where he significantly exceeded his targets. Blackall also served as the VP North American channel at CA Technologies, where he achieved a channel revenue objective of $220 million.
