Press Ganey supports health care providers in understanding and improving the entire patient experience. Partnering with more than 10,000 organizations – spanning hospitals, medical practices, home care agencies and other providers – Press Ganey offers solutions and services to understand the patient experience and help achieve improved experiential, clinical, financial and operational outcomes. The company offers more than a dozen Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications that enable its clients to address key business objectives such as improved quality of care, increased market share, enhanced operational efficiency and optimized reimbursement.
Press Ganey deployed the VMware vCloud Suite in October 2012 with the goal of increasing IT efficiency, performance and reliability. The company improved the performance and scalability of its SaaS offerings by taking advantage of the virtualization platform’s ability to dynamically allocate IT resources to high volume applications to meet customer demand.
Press Ganey also accelerated provisioning of new development and testing environments from a week to less than a day by eliminating manual processes and offering its developers immediate access to IT resources through the VMware vCloud Suite’s self-service and provisioning capabilities. The self-service capabilities have helped Press Ganey conduct more effective testing along with bringing new features and applications to market more efficiently and effectively.
A primary driver in the company’s decision to upgrade to the VMware vCloud Suite is the suite’s comprehensive management capabilities. With enhanced operational management capabilities, Press Ganey is able to manage even larger, more complex IT environments more effectively.
