Lancope, Inc. has announced an expanded relationship with Cisco through the Cisco SolutionsPlus program. Lancope’s StealthWatch® System is now also on the Cisco Global Price List as part of the Cyber Threat Defense (CTD) Solution.

Cisco SolutionsPlus is a program that delivers a one-stop ordering experience for Cisco customers, channel partners and sales teams for select third-party products and applications. Cisco customers around the world can now procure Lancope’s StealthWatch for enterprise-wide NetFlow analysis directly from Cisco and its global partner community.

“Combining the network visibility of Lancope’s StealthWatch with Cisco’s robust infrastructure presents a powerful partnership for cyber threat defense,” said Scott Harrell, vice president, security technology group, Cisco. “Together, Cisco and Lancope are delivering a CTD solution for unparalleled protection from the Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) and targeted attacks that are wreaking havoc on today’s government and enterprise networks. Lancope was invited to become a SolutionsPlus member based on its technology innovation, market leadership, excellent customer references and proven support organisation.”

Designed to combat the most stealthy, sophisticated cyber-attacks lurking on the Internet, Cisco’s Cyber Threat Defense Solution provides greater visibility into what is going on inside a customer’s network. CTD integrates Lancope’s next-generation network traffic analysis with Cisco’s unique network telemetry capabilities and contextual-based identity system. With CTD, organisations can quickly detect threats closer to the source, minimising the propagation and potential damage of attacks, while eliminating the need for expensive and error-prone manual threat investigation.

Lancope is a Registered Developer of network security products in the Cisco Developer Network. In addition to providing a key component of the CTD solution, StealthWatch:
• Consumes flow data from a wide range of Cisco devices including the Catalyst Series, NGA, ASA, ASR/ISR and Nexus platforms, delivering comprehensive network visibility across core, edge and access layers
• Has achieved interoperability verification testing (IVT) status for the Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) to combine user identity and device data with in-depth security context
• Interoperates with the Catalyst 3850 to support wired and wireless network convergence with network-wide visibility and analytics

“We are excited to take our business partnership with Cisco to the next level and further increase Lancope’s reach in the field,” said Mike Potts, president and CEO of Lancope. “Being selected as a Cisco partner for flow analytics, security context and network visibility is a testament to the unique value add of StealthWatch for strategic cyber defense. Our inclusion in the SolutionsPlus program will allow our customers to maximize the value of their network infrastructure and keep their assets and data secure amidst an ever-evolving threat landscape.”

Lancope’s StealthWatch System leverages NetFlow, IPFIX and other types of flow data from existing infrastructure for cost-effective network behavior anomaly detection, incident response and forensics. With StealthWatch, organizations can more effectively identify and thwart evolving threats including DDoS, zero-day, insider and APT attacks. The system is highly scalable to meet the needs of even the largest networks, monitoring up to 120,000 flows per second (fps) per collector, or 3 million fps total.
