Red Hat announces details for EMEA Partner Conference Madrid

Three-day partner conference to discuss agenda for modernizing IT with open innovation.

Red Hat, Inc. has announced dates and details for the fifth annual Red Hat Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Partner Conference scheduled to take place in Madrid, from Sept. 29 - Oct. 2, 2013.

The event will open with keynote presentations by Arun Oberoi, Red Hat's executive vice president of global sales and services and Brian Stevens, Red Hat's CTO and vice president of worldwide engineering. Petra Heinrich, vice president of partners & alliances for Red Hat EMEA, will provide insight into the partner landscape and strategy. Also featured on stage will be panel discussions examining trends on open hybrid cloud, middleware and platform offerings and product strategies.

The three-day event will feature breakout sessions focused on strategies and best practices for transforming enterprise IT architecture using open source technology and migrating from physical to virtual and cloud solutions.

The Red Hat EMEA Partner Conference is an ideal forum for Red Hat distributors, system integrators, ISVs, OEMs and solution providers to collaborate and innovate with Red Hat and one another. From discussions with Red Hat's executive team to developing a winning business strategy with Red Hat solutions, the Red Hat EMEA Partner Conference offers a broad spectrum of opportunities for the Red Hat partner ecosystem.

Attendees will discover how Red Hat customers are implementing current solutions to increase productivity while reducing costs. The Red Hat EMEA Partner Conference will be comprised of three pillars. Pillar one is built on datacentre integration with the key themes of partner enablement and IT modernization. Pillar two is built around middleware and the requirement to migrate legacy applications in an open environment. The third pillar focuses on solving the new workload challenges inherent in open hybrid cloud and big data environments.

Red Hat will host a series of labs, offering hands-on training session that cover key product areas, including platform, virtualization, cloud and middleware. Attendees will have the opportunity to take Red Hat exams free-of-charge.
