Datum, the Farnborough based Colocation specialist, announces that it has been accredited with the prestigious certificates of Quality Management ISO9001 and Information Security Management ISO 27001.

The world’s most popular standards for quality and information security management have numerous proven benefits including improved operational performance, efficient internal processes, and higher levels of operational and infrastructure security.

Based on the high security Technology Park in Farnborough, Datum’s colocation services are underpinned by a highly available and secure, carrier neutral environment, where quality and information security play a critical role.

Since its opening in January 2013, the environmentally intelligent and cost effective colocation provider has been working to align its internal processes to meet the high requirements of both accreditations, by continuously carrying out detailed assessments and ensuring that established business processes meet the standards required.

Paul Garner, Datacentre Manager for Datum comments, "This is a great achievement for us and for our Clients; it is a reinforcement of our emphasis on quality and information security and it fully supports our 100% Client Focused approach.”

“This time last year we were still building our datacentre and we are now fully operational, with a growing Client base and now the initial building blocks in place for our ambitious accreditation targets. With ISO 9001 and 27001 completed and further accreditation preparations underway this is a great start”, Paul Garner continues.

The Farnborough based colocation provider is currently working towards ISO14001 Environmental Management, ISO50001 Energy Management and PCI DSS certifications.
