Connectivity is key to the global gaming market, with an influence on the whole experience. That's why at the upcoming 13th annual CampZone outdoor gaming event, network infrastructure provider Alcatel-Lucent, will be providing high levels of connectivity for every participant to combine camping and fast-networking for an endless gaming summer experience.

Alcatel-Lucent has announced that it is sponsoring the CampZone outdoor gaming event taking place in Oirschot, in the Netherlands. Alcatel-Lucent will provide both a wired and wireless network to connect all participants. Demonstrating the power of its data centre technology, which provides 24x7 performance and security for some of the world's largest data centers across the globe, Alcatel-Lucent's networking services will provide over 1,700 online gamers visiting the event a seamless gaming experience across whatever gaming device or console they choose to use and wherever they are – in a tent or in the open air.

Every gamer will be provided with a 1Gigabit network connection through the use of a two-layer network consisting of a core and an access layer to deliver low latency, highly stable and resilient connectivity. For the core layer, Alcatel-Lucent will use its data centre grade equipment to interconnect all fields, and gamers can even host a server in their own tent.

As part of the event, Alcatel-Lucent will also be holding presentations to showcase the power of networking in a gaming environment. Register now to join the presentations:
