Nexenta has announced its full line up of keynote speakers who will be presenting at the OpenStorage User Summit, running on May 29th and 30th 2013, at the Mercure Hotel, Amsterdam, Netherlands.

The event has become a key date in the diary for architects, systems engineers, developers, technology support administrators, CIOs, CTOs and IT managers who are interested in hearing from industry leaders who represent the diversity and pioneering spirit of the thriving OpenStorage community. Speakers will cover topics such as virtualisation, cloud technologies, performance, big data, high availability, OpenStack, backup, and more.
Evan Powell, Nexenta’s Chief Strategy Officer will open the Partner Day on the 29th of May. This ‘invite only’ first day allows Nexenta partners to convene and discuss products and future developments in the solutions roadmap.
The second day (May 30) is the educational conference day, which is focused on sharing and learning about the latest developments in the OpenStorage industry. This will be kicked off by Robin Kuepers, Board of Directors, SNIA. Kuepers will be discussing how SDS makes storage more fluid and efficient. SDS will be a key topic during the event as will cloud, virtual desktop infrastructure and data integrity.
The final keynote session will be a first hand account of Rotterdam Libary’s implementation of a NexentaStor solution by Sjaak Westdijk the library’s Infrastructure Specialist and Senior Systems Administrator.
