NextiraOne UK wins Cisco Marketing Award

Cisco has named NextiraOne UK as the winner of its “Best Integrated Marketing Campaign” for its promotions around the Cisco Live! event held at the ExCel in London earlier this year. NextiraOne developed, designed and executed a fully integrated campaign across Europe, spanning four months, 17 countries, 4,000 employees and countless customers and prospects.

Receiving the award on behalf of his team, NextiraOne’s Head of Marketing, Chris Lewis said: “We’re delighted that senior Cisco Marketing Executives have awarded the UK Marketing team with the Best Integrated Marketing Campaign Award for Cisco Live! 2013. The support and assistance we received from the Cisco Live event team and from Cisco’s UK Marketing team were second to none; they supported us throughout the project with time, resources, funding, patience and sheer determination to ensure we were successful.”

The challenge for NextiraOne was to set the company apart from the competition both at Cisco Live and in the run-up to the event, making full use of NextiraOne’s global footprint to promote its commitment to Cisco and its capabilities as an International Cisco Gold Partner. The solution was to design and execute a multi-faceted campaign that leveraged NextiraOne’s in-house Marketing expertise, multiple communications channels and a wide customer base including 65% of all the European companies in the Fortune Global 500. The central messaging of the campaign and event “What We make possible” was specifically designed to align to Cisco’s messaging for Cisco Live! promoting how NextiraOne, working in close partnership with Cisco and the customer, can help the customer to achieve their objectives, solve their IT challenges and meet investment targets. This messaging was used throughout the campaign on pre-event material, collateral for the event and on all graphics and displays.

The team focused its integrated campaign on generating business for its solutions based on Cisco technology, reflecting the fact that NextiraOne has extensive accreditations and specialisations in nearly all of Cisco’s architectures: from Borderless Networking, Collaboration and Contact Centre to Data Centre and Virtualisation. The campaign also promoted solutions incorporating NextiraOne’s multi-vendor and integration skills in bringing together its strategic partner alliances with NetApp, VMware, APC, Panduit and Equinix in the Data Centre and Virtualization architectures and Jabra in the collaboration architecture. NextiraOne also promoted its capabilities using Cisco’s cross-architectural “Smart Solutions” during the campaign, specifically Bring Your Own Device (BYOD), Remote Expert, Transformative Networking and Unified Workspace solutions.

Jackie Nixon, UKI Marketing Director at Cisco said: “The NextiraOne team worked extremely hard to promote their own activities as a system integrator with specific expertise in Cisco solutions but also to support our overall marketing objectives with Cisco Live. This is a well-deserved win for a campaign that made use of every marketing and PR tool available.”
