In 2010, Michael Richtberg joined Dell’s newly created Best Value Solutions team to define and execute a Next Generation End User Computing strategy for a complete end-to-end offering designed to simplify and accelerate the adoption of mobile and alternative virtual desktop computing. In 2012, this strategic framework resulted in one of the largest desktop virtualization mergers via the acquisition of Wyse, the leading provider of Cloud Client Computing solutions to transform and diversify Dell’s end user computing solutions into a new multi-billion dollar revenue stream. The resulting team effort created an industry-leading combination of business relationships for an integrated software, datacenter infrastructure, desktops, mobility, and cloud services solution set. Prior to his work at Dell, Richtberg worked for Citrix Systems for over a decade where he led over a dozen new product initiatives that grew the company from $128M in 1997 to over $1.5B by 2008.

"Enabling users to experience a true Personal Computing experience with all of the individual preferences we expect to make our desktops productive shouldn't be optional, yet many customers have to choose flexibility over affordability,” said Michael Richtberg, Vice President, Product Management, GreenBytes. “Cost optimization and systems management simplicity shouldn't be a trade-off when choosing a virtualized architecture. I am very pleased to be joining GreenBytes as the product champion for virtualized storage infrastructure that keeps the 'personal' in virtual desktops."
“I am delighted to welcome our new Vice President, Product Management, Michael Richtberg, to the GreenBytes executive team,” said Steve O’Donnell, CEO, GreenBytes. “Our ability to attract world-class professionals is critical to our success and Michael is widely recognized as one of the top people in the virtualization space. Michael will be working to ensure that the company is set up to deliver exceptional customer experience at volume.”
