Emerson Network Power joins Data Centre Alliance

Emerson Network Power brings its technical and commercial expertise to international data centre community.

Emerson Network Power has announced its partnership with the Data Centre Alliance (DCA) as it becomes an official member.
The Data Centre Alliance is an influential industry body within the UK and across Europe. The organisation consults on the most pressing issues within the data centre industry, and was recently called to Brussels to work with the European Commission. As a member of the DCA, Emerson Network Power’s UK team will be well-positioned to help address challenges such as the need for increased data centre sustainability.
From its UK office, Emerson Network Power will contribute to forums, standards and joint industry initiatives via the DCA’s collaborative platform, Data Central.

“By partnering with the Data Centre Alliance, we are offered an opportunity to join a committed network of data centre professionals. Within the UK, and throughout Europe, the data centre is becoming an ever-more mission critical facility, and so it is increasingly important that we develop and share industry best practice and insights. Emerson Network Power has a long history of technical innovation, and we look forward to working within the DCA to drive data centre standards forward,” said Kevin Harris, general manager UK product sales, Emerson Network Power.

Simon Campbell-Whyte, Executive Director of the Data Centre Alliance commented, “We’re delighted to have Emerson Network Power on-board as a partner member of the Data Centre Alliance. Joining at a very exciting time for the industry I am confident that they will bring a valuable contribution to the Alliances’ shared knowledge centre and aid acceleration of our goals to push forward data centre innovation, best practice and standards.”
