Agreement helps meet growing demand for enterprise grade distribution for Hadoop.

The agreement enables a closer relationship between Onepoint IQ and MapR to accelerate the delivery of critical projects and the wider adoption of Hadoop technologies pioneered by the UK based firm in support of clients across the region.

“Our formalised agreement allows us to work more closely with Onepoint IQ to further educate our customers and deliver beneficial joint projects across the region,” said Steve Jenkins, MapR VP for EMEA, “Our partnership will deliver a comprehensive training programme to help organisations adopt MapR technologies as part of innovative Big Data projects and highlight our unique features that address limitations inherent in other distributions of the technology.”

“Our vendor agnostic approach combined with our Rapid Value Methodology enables us to deliver a range of services to support our clients,” said Christy Kulasingam, Chief Stratnologist and Co-Founder of Onepoint IQ. “Our relationship with MapR is part of an on-going strategy to engage with market leaders across the Big Data ecosystem to offer a comprehensive approach to organisations looking for a trusted advisor to help navigate and benefit from this exciting and fast-evolving space.”
