SecureRack: the new virtual data centre in Switzerland

The Swiss Internet Service Provider Backbone Solutions AG has launched SecureRack, a new IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) solution that complies with the highest security requirements and is globally offered to small, medium and large companies. SecureRack provides its customers with a virtual data centre in Switzerland. A flexible resource pool allows the customers to adapt their dynamic IT infrastructure at any time to current needs and to run as many servers as required.

The New York Genome Center (NYGC) and IBM have announced an initiative to accelerate a new era of genomic medicine with the use of IBM’s Watson cognitive system.
