Interxion to purchase data centre facilities in Marseille

INTERXION HOLDING NV has signed an agreement to purchase the SFR Netcenter data centre facilities in Marseille, France. When fully built out, the data centre (“MRS 1”) will provide approximately 5,700 square metres of equipped space and a minimum of 6MW of customer-available power. The first phase of 500 square metres is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2014; the second phase, also of approximately 500 square metres, is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2015.
