Algorithm marketplace to make its mark

Tieto develops Kenya's first digital card and payment solution

Commercial Bank of Africa announced today the launch of a new digital banking solution based on a mobile app named Loop, making it the first of its kind in Kenya and in the region. Tieto has developed and delivered the digital and mobile payment solution that allows easy card issuance for MasterCard. With this initiative Commercial Bank of Africa aims to serve 1 million currently unbanked Kenyans.



Etera renews infrastructure services contract with Tieto

Etera, a Finnish mutual pension insurance company, and Tieto have entered into an agreement for the prolongation of the existing contract. Under the five-year agreement, Tieto will provide Etera with infrastructure services and create a scalable platform to help increase cost-efficiency as well as creating favourable conditions for Etera’s IT renewal.
