Chayora breaks ground on first of two hyperscale data centre campuses in China

Chayora Limited, a Hong Kong-based data centre infrastructure company, has finalised agreements with the government of Beichen, Tianjin, to begin construction of the company's first hyperscale data centre campus in China.  The 300MW, 32-hectare / 80-acre campus will serve the greater Beijing region that is home to more than 150 million people in the JingJinJi mega-metropolitan area of northern China.






Asperitas opens datacentre pop-up showcase location in French TIER IV datacentre

Asperitas opened an Immersed Computing® showcase location in France in December 2017 in collaboration with a local partner. An Immersed Computing AIC24 module has been deployed in a TIER IV datacentre environment to function as a showcase for the French market. The datacentre is serving a global player from the financial industry. The pop-up showcase location will be available to visitors until the end of February 2018.



MPower secures UPS maintenance contract for North Wales Police

Leading provider of uninterruptible power supplies, MPower UPS part of the CENTIEL Group, has been appointed to manage UPS maintenance at North Wales Police and Fire Service.  MPower will now look after North Wales Police’s head-quarters in Colwyn Bay and district head-quarters at Caernarfon and Wrexham plus the UPS at Rhyl Fire Station.



Asperitas is launching referral program to connect with datacentre and cloud innovators

Global Switch partners in Hong Kong

Following the signing of a landmark cooperation agreement on 25 April 2017, China Telecom Global (CTG), a subsidiary of China Telecom Corporation Limited ― one of the world’s largest providers of integrated telecommunication services; and Daily-Tech, a developer and operator of data centre infrastructure across China, have partnered with Global Switch, the leading owner, developer and operator of large-scale, carrier and cloud neutral data centres in Europe and Asia Pacific, to launch Global Switch’s new HK$5 billion data centre in Tseung Kwan O, Hong Kong.
