TIBCO Software has formed a global partnership with the 2016 FIA Formula One World Champions, Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport. As an Official Team Partner, TIBCO will provide the team with expertise in the area of advanced analytics through the TIBCO® Insight Platform, while the distinctive TIBCO logo will be featured on the helmets of the team's drivers Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas.






Big Data Sandbox for MapR Converged Data Platform

Talend has released a new version of its Big Data Sandbox, which includes support for the MapR Converged Data Platform. The pre-configured, easy-to-use virtual environment allows developers to learn and experiment with ready-to-run big data scenarios and a single-node Hadoop distribution. The Sandbox includes a 30-day evaluation of Talend’s latest platform for Big Data integration (Winter ’17).

Algorithm marketplace to make its mark

Industrie 4.0* has been underway for more than five years, and while many businesses have begun some promising Industrie 4.0 projects, key challenges remain that are making algorithms the heartbeat of these projects, according to Gartner, Inc. Airbus analytics take off

FD has signed an agreement with Airbus Defence and Space to develop an innovative approach for large scale processing of geospatial data using its Kx analytics platform. A wide number of additional applications have been identified and the objective is to commercially exploit these by combining Kx technology and data from Airbus Defence and Space assets.
