Flotek Group has solidified its foothold in North Wales with the acquisition of a majority share in OES, a prominent digital technology solutions firm offering Managed IT, Cyber Security, Managed Print, and Web Development services.

With an impressive £3.1 million turnover and rapid growth trajectory, OES has established itself as a trusted partner for businesses in North Wales and the Northwest. Renowned for its tailored account management and highly skilled team, OES boasts a diverse clientele including notable names such as Boots, Hickory’s, and Gamlins, with a focus on delivering bespoke solutions to the legal market.

This strategic investment not only strengthens Flotek's regional presence but also aligns with its expansion goals, pushing the Group's turnover to over £10.5 million. The acquisition also brings onboard 22 experienced OES staff, augmenting Flotek's team to over 80 professionals.

Jay Ball, CEO of Flotek, expressed enthusiasm about the investment, stating, "OES's impressive track record and talented team make them a perfect fit for Flotek. This acquisition will boost our growth and visibility in the area and allow us to diversify our service offerings. We are thrilled to welcome OES to the Flotek family and create new opportunities for both businesses and customers."

Under the acquisition agreement, OES's management team, comprising Wayne Jones, Peter Edwards, and Luke Murray, will continue in their roles while benefiting from Flotek's strategic guidance and resources. Wayne Jones, OES MD, shared his excitement, saying, "Being part of Flotek is a great opportunity for our team and clients. We can now leverage Flotek's resources to enhance our service delivery and expand our reach in the region. I'm eager to explore new avenues, such as the telecoms market, and grow alongside Flotek."

Maintaining OES's brand identity under the Flotek Group umbrella ensures continuity for clients and employees while leveraging Flotek's expertise for future growth. This acquisition marks Flotek's second investment following the inclusion of Hampshire-based Flexinet last year, further solidifying its position as a leading technology solutions provider.

The acquisition process was facilitated by GS Verde Group, offering comprehensive transaction support across legal, financial, tax, and communication domains, streamlining the entire process for both parties involved.
