Tanium accelerates innovation with new Technology Partner Program

Access to real-time endpoint data promotes zero-trust security and enhances application performance and reliability across complex integration environments.

With investments in digital transformation rapidly redefining modern IT infrastructure and creating an exponential increase in the volume of endpoints and data, Tanium makes it easier for technology partners to harness the power of its converged endpoint management (XEM) platform with the launch if its new Technology Partner Program. As part of the program, partners can leverage Tanium’s purpose-built API which provides access to real-time endpoint data spanning organisations’ entire IT infrastructure, in addition to Tanium products, documentation, support, technical validation, and co-marketing opportunities.

“As customers continue to standardise on the Tanium XEM platform, we’ve seen increased demand in the partner community for a program that brings together isolated point solutions via a single source of truth,” said Michael Martins, vice president of technical partnerships and alliances at Tanium. “Our technology partner program is designed to provide value to partners at scale and deliver real-time, decision-quality endpoint data across all devices and environments to keep pace with the ever-growing threat landscape.”

The Technology Partner Program is made available through the new Tanium developer portal, a purpose-built portal that provides resources for partners to build powerful integrations in an efficient, self-service way. For quality assurance—and successful integration outcomes—Tanium engineers are on hand to conduct thorough reviews of each proposed integration. With a tiered model comprised of three levels – ready, set, and go – the program provides Tanium partners with the ability to grow and unlock additional benefits as their integration matures through customer adoption.

“Being a Tanium technology partner gives us a distinct advantage in the market by enabling us to deliver more value to our customers,” said Kate Kuehn, senior vice president of alliances at vArmour. “Security and compliance can’t be an afterthought. Integrating with Tanium improves our user experience and gives us the peace-of-mind that comes from accurate, timely data utilised across vArmour's Relationship Cloud. The program opens exciting new possibilities, and we look forward to what the future holds.”

A new report from the Capgemini Research Institute finds that 51% of industrial organizations believe that the number of cyberattacks on smart factories is likely to increase over the next 12 months. Yet nearly half (47%) of manufacturers say cybersecurity in their smart factories is not a C-level concern. According to the Capgemini report, ‘Smart & Secure: Why smart factories need to prioritize cybersecurity’, few manufacturers have mature practices across the critical pillars of cybersecurity. The connected nature of smart factories is exponentially increasing the risks of attacks in the Intelligent Industry era.
New research reveals majority of large businesses can’t replace unsupported hardware, leaving potential vulnerabilities exposed.
With an unprecedented number of employees now working in hybrid or fully remote environments, compounded by an increase in cyber threats and a more overwhelmed, COVID-19 information fatigued workforce, there has never been a more critical time to effectively create and maintain a cyber-secure workforce and an engaged security culture.
Arcserve has published the first in a series of findings of its annual independent global research study on current experiences and attitudes of IT decision-makers (ITDMs) around data protection and recovery. Key findings from the research show that ransomware attacks continue to impact organisations worldwide with high costs, but they are still largely unprepared. With 50% of respondents targeted with ransomware attacks, the research indicates the critical need for companies to take a new approach to data resilience that fortifies disaster recovery strategies, backup systems, and immutable storage solutions to prevent the loss of mission-critical data.
A survey of WAN managers has revealed that multi-factor authentication and single sign-on are the top zero trust features implemented.
New research shows Log4Shell detections tripled, PowerShell scripts heavily influenced a surge in endpoint attacks, the Emotet botnet came back in a big way and malicious cryptomining activity increased.
